what if there was a really flamboyant assassin and after they killed someone they just snapped their fingers, turned away and said ‘you’ve just been SASSassinated’
Get cereal, Tony says.
Get healthy cereal, Steve says.
Pop-Tarts, Thor says.
Fuck it, this is the one Tasha likes. MOVING ON.
I love these little “moments of Avengers Tower life” that we haven’t seen. This is so accurate oh my god

#ugh this scene kills me #because you know if iron man or thor or cap did it they would spring up just fine and be on their merry way #but clint #you don’t see clint for another ten fucking minutes in the movie#he’s probably laying there in dire pain for most of it #LIKE UGH #he knows he’s only human but that never stops him from being extraordinary and I just #let me kiss your face you perfect character thanks
everybody that Jeremy Renner has played is the same person, aka Clint Barton.
So Clint was in the circus obviously, as the amazing Hawkeye. Then he joined the army under the alias of William James (because Clint Barton had a criminal record for small time things, like destruction of public property, or something like that). But then Clint saw he chance to do something else, so he faked his death and moved to LA. In LA he joined the SWAT team as Brian Gamble working as a sniper. When the entire SWAT movie was going on, Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (aka Nick Fury undercover) decided to recruit Clint. Together they faked Gamble death, using one of SHIELD’s life size decoys of course.
Once Clint was cleared for duty by SHIELD, he was sent on basic WET work for SHIELD. Including the op, where Clint decided to spare Natasha’s life. A couple years later, he was sent into a long term undercover op as Detective Jason Walsh. While working as a NYPD detective, Jason Walsh caught the attention of IMF. SHIELD, deciding that having an asset working within IMF was beneficial, reassigned Clint to IMF under the alias of William Brandt. After the whole fiasco with Ethan Hunt and being disavowed, SHIELD decided it was time to bring back their best Sniper.
Then comes the Avengers movie.
And that is my Headcanon

yes, i know i’m way late to this bandwagon — it’s probably not even a thing anymore! but whatever! mom!Natasha and dad!Clint with kid!Merida.
… it’s been too long i don’t know how to draw avengers anymore! crap!
A.U. pre-Avengers [sort of] where the SHIELD agents have a favourite bar where they all hang out after work or missions: darts game (highscore owned by the Hawk), guns and lethal weapons under every table, a cocktail named after Fury (whiskey+cinnamon+orange), karaoke… And after a nth mission together where Natasha saved the life of a dozen of SHIELD members, Clint and the few grams of alcohol in his blood pay a vibrant tribute to her, the other agents considering now Nat’ as a real member of the agency and no more as an ex-KGB spy.
btw, thanks to Bex :)
Before I worked for SHIELD, I uh…well, I made a name for myself. I have a very specific skillset. I didn’t care who I used it for, or on. I got on SHIELD’s radar in a bad way. Agent Barton was sent to kill me, he made a different call.
To successfully make a shot, you gotta follow and master basic steps. Your stance is the foundation. Where you draw your strength. Nock the arrow and grip. Realize you are wielding a weapon. Mindset. Focus solely on your goal, regardless of your surroundings. Be in the now. Set up and draw. Inhale and prepare for what you are about to do. Anchor and hold. There is no going back. Aim. All that remains is you and your target. Release and follow through. Master those and you hit every time. One last step. Feedback. Basically…take responsibility for the outcome. For every shot.
