So this still after Cas hits Dean.

That look of pure horror on his face at what he’s done.

I think this is going to be the tipping point for him. Because Dean is pretty much the most important person to Cas and even if you don’t ship Destiel, you know how important they are to each other. But could you imagine hurting someone you care for? Emotionally and physically? Because that’s what’s happening here.

I feel like this is the point where he’s snapping out of Naomi’s control. Even if it’s for this small moment, I think this is what’s going to propel Cas forward to fight against her.

And what’s more romantic than finding the strength to do something because of the person you care most about?

You know what the best part about this is? And I’m calling it. Dean’s not going to doubt. He’s going to know this isn’t his Cas. This is a chance to correct the mistakes from S6. This is a chance for Dean to show us (and himself, and Cas) how much he’s grown. This is a chance for Dean to stand by his ~~man~~ angel. This is an opportunity to show us the depth of Dean’s faith.

And it’s going to be beautiful.
