Woah, didn’t expect that one!

• How I feel about this character

Alright, here we go. First movie, he completely creeped me out. I can’t really remember how I felt watching the after-credits scene of Dead Man’s Chest, but I probably wasn’t ecstatic to see him alive, seeing as I was glad when he finally died in the first one. In At World’s End, however, I actually enjoyed his character, his lines are funny and he didn’t seem as creepy. The Calypso part still weirds me out, but that’s overshadowed by the amusing rivalry between him and Jack when they sail the Pearl, and how awesomely hilarious it is that he got to marry Will and Elizabeth. By the time trailers for On Stranger Tides came out, I was excited to have him as a character again. He was again a fun character to have on screen, and his and Jack’s shenanigans were as entertaining as ever. Looking back at the first one, I can admit he makes a good antagonist, but I still feel triumphant when the bullet wound takes effect and he dies. I like him much more when he’s on his second life.

Uh. He’s creepy in the first movie? XD

• One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I wish he had gotten to wear more pirate clothes in On Stranger Tides, that English wardrobe was killing my soul.
